If you are in need of food, there is help available throughout the Brazos Valley from our network of agency partners.
See a list of Food Pantries by County here.
What to expect when you visit a food pantry:
- Food provided at no cost to you.
- At each pantry you visit, you will be asked to complete a short intake form which asks basic personal and demographic information (name, address, number of people residing with you, income, date of birth, etc.) which will be kept private and confidential.
- If you can, bring proof of where you live (driver’s license, utility bill, water bill, lease agreement, etc.).
- You are not required to bring proof of income or citizenship.
- You are not required to participate in a religious event, or pay dues as a condition of receiving food.
- You are not to be refused service or discriminated against based on your race, color, age, religion, national origin, disability, gender, sexual orientation or political affiliation.
- You are to be treated with respect and dignity at all times.
You are allowed to visit each pantry in your service area at least once a month.
